So, let's see. Everyone who reads this journal wants to know how my life is going. So, for you two, I write this entry. Enjoy. I took my first MCSD test, and failed it by one question. For those no "in the know" (which includes most folks, so don't feel too badly) the MCSD is a certification program for Microsoft programs. Each test is like completing a college course in a certain aspect of some Microsoft program, and when I complete all five tets, I'll get the equivilant of a degree, which will be nice when I go job hunting. But, I failed, so que sera. Chances are high that this will be my last entry before Thanksgiving, so here are a few things I'm thankful for. My family, my church, my friends (however far away they may be), my job, the internet. That's probably not all. I'm thankful for everything. Thanks, God. I hate celebrities. I hate them with every square inch of my body. I don't really hate individual, but I hate the whole idea of celebrity, that one person is better than another because they can do something superficial, and life corrupt, terrible lives without ever seeming to have to suffer consequences. I hate seeing their faces on the front of magazines, and I hate hearing people rave about them. Why can't people admire those who deserve admiration? Mother Teresa, your local firemen, your parents (if hey deserve admiration), all more deserving than anyone in Hollywood. Most people just roll their eyes, but the truth that we're a nation (and a world, for the most part) that thinks from the waist down instead of the neck up. I'm guilty of it sometimes too, but frankly, not very often. Walking down the magazine aisle makes me angry. That said, I love movies, and I love music (although a lot of my fave musicians are not exactly celebrities), so I continue to support them despite my intense dislike of their lifestyles. I'm a hypocrite. Sorry. There's nothing more to be said tonight. I should be in bed. Peace, and Happy Thanksgiving!
